I knew you. I remember those dimples;
Perfectly accentuating the smile
That once made my life so much more simple,
Telling me I could relax for awhile.
I’ve not forgotten the touch of your skin;
Pale as the full moon we once danced under
While the wind howled as we began to spin
In a tornado of love and wonder.
I can still see the movement of your lips,
Dripping the tears that had slid down your face
As you told me that “we’ve begun to slip”
To explain why you refused my embrace.
I recognize this feeling of regret,
And remember why I chose to forget.

lol well, if it makes you feel better i wasnt actually feeling that way when i wrote it. since i was writing in a specific style that kinda actually dictated how the poem was going to end up rather than a pre-planned idea of how it was going to end which i found very interesting. and im glad u liked it!

ewwwww so glad I'm not doing the whole college thing at the moment. not that I'm not busy as hell...I still have class from 7am to about 3pm plus an hour long organized workout. the af is kicking my butt lol. but for the most part I can't really complain.
